I am honored to submit my name in nomination for a Board of Governors position with NCBC for the 2016 – 2018 term. Since becoming a member of NCBC and attending several conferences, I have seen what a positive influence the NCBC is to the bankruptcy courts and their employees. I would truly be honored to serve on the NCBC Board of Governors. Since beginning my career with the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee in 2004, I have served my court as Personnel Analyst, Administrative Analyst, and Administrative Specialist. Within those positions, I have been afforded the opportunity to hold duties within many different departments of the court including Human Resources, Training, Intake, Finance, Property and Procurement, Budget and Emergency Preparedness. In addition to those duties, I oversee and conduct our court’s educational outreach program with the main focus being the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program and am an alumna of the 2008 Federal Court Leadership Program. In 2008, 2010 and 2015, our court hosted the Human Resources Forum. Each year I was given the opportunity to assist our Human Resources Manager in planning, organizing and executing each successful forum. If selected to serve on the Board of Governors, I feel that my skills and abilities will help the NCBC continue to achieve its main goal to provide its members with training and development opportunities, be an advocate for the bankruptcy clerks and the bankruptcy system, and provide leadership and input on a national level. Thank you for your consideration and I would be honored to receive your vote.
