I am honored to submit my name in nomination for one of the vacant seats on the Board of Governors. In November 2016, I was appointed NCBC treasurer by the Board when Ken Hirz retired. I have enjoyed my time as Treasurer and meeting the changing requirements for the position. While being Treasurer has been rewarding, I look to serve the organization in a different capacity and I look to you for your support.
On March 16, 2018, I celebrated 31 years with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada. During my tenure with the Court, I worked in various positions which include ECRO, Intake Deputy, Case Administrator, Financial Administrator, Budget Analyst, Personnel Specialist, and Administrative/Operations Manager. In August 2007, I was appointed as the Clerk of Court. While working full time with the Court, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I was a member of the Budget and Finance Advisory Council for 2009-2011. I am a member of the Human Resources Advisory Council for 2015-2018 and the 9th Circuit IT Security Committee 2017-2020.
NCBC has offered numerous educational opportunities and new benefits to the members. I would love the opportunity to continue assisting this organization in meeting the future needs of the membership. I thank you for your consideration and would be honored to receive your vote.
