I, Daniel Paez, announce my candidacy for the NCBC Board of Governors, and would greatly appreciate your vote. I am currently a Case Manager for the Western District of Texas. I have over 23 years of bankruptcy court experience, which has given me a great understanding of the bankruptcy world and its effects on the public and the Court. Joining NCBC in 2000 helped me realize how much we can learn from our fellow members, people who truly care about our work and our future. Working as part of the host court crew when the conference came to San Antonio challenged me, I wanted to continue to do more for the organization. I was the Texas Western Local Representative for 5 years. With your help, I’ll be honored to provide assistance on a national level. I’ve been fortunate to attend 6 NCBC Conferences over the years, during which I have met many wonderful people who have given me the opportunity to gather and share ideas with fellow NCBC participants. Now I want to give back. The educational and networking opportunities are outstanding. I hope to help more court employees share this experience. Serving on the NCBC Board would allow me to contribute to the mission of NCBC through interactions with my fellow co-workers, both locally and across the country. If elected, I promise to represent you to the best of my ability and help contribute to the future of NCBC. Thank you in advance for your support.
