Please accept my declaration of candidacy for the National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks Board of Governors position. I joined the National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks in 2005, and have remained a contributing member ever since. As a former Board member serving from 2010 through 2013, I successfully collaborated with the Board and bankruptcy clerks to provide education, sustain membership, and provide scholarships. During my tenure, I served as chairman of the NCBC Conference Education Committee, and coordinated bankruptcy-specific training programs for conferences held in New Orleans and San Francisco. I also served as Membership Committee Chairman, and through creative efforts, worked with circuit liaisons to provide membership building resources at the local level. Additionally, I worked on the Scholarship Committee, and assisted with the creation of scholarship procedures and assessment guidelines. I am confident in my ability to make a smooth transition, not simply because of previous Board experience, but because I am creative, committed, and have obtained progressive leadership skills as a Supervisor, Deputy Clerk in Charge and Chief Deputy Clerk for the Ohio Northern Bankruptcy Court. I would greatly appreciate your vote, and welcome an opportunity to meet the professional needs of NCBC members.
