The next New Deputy Court Unit Executive (DCUE) Leadership Seminar is scheduled for April 28-30, 2020 in Santa Fe, NM.
During the seminar, program participants:
· examine the transition from supervisory to executive roles and responsibilities and explore the unique facets of the deputy role;
· assess their own leadership strengths and challenges;
· assess the opportunities and challenges in their relationship with their court unit executive;
· apply a leadership toolkit, which includes expanding awareness of organizational culture, developing trust-building skills, and using influence styles;
· describe the culture of their court unit; and
· translate their vision into actionable strategies for successfully influencing and working within the court culture to achieve organizational goals.
This three-day program is intended for deputy court unit executives who are entering the executive level for the first time, have served in their position from six months to two years, are responsible for managing managers and/or supervisors, and are considered by their CUEs to be members of the executive team. DCUEs from all court units are eligible to participate.
