Last year the NCBC awarded $6,000 in scholarships to our members. Fifteen lucky members from several court units earned $400 each. That is quite a return on investment for someone who may have paid only $15 for their annual membership. 2020 could be your year to receive an NCBC scholarship. Funds are available to assist you in reaching your 2020 educational goals. The NCBC Scholarship Committee invites you to submit your application for tuition assistance.
When? The scholarship application window will open on March 1, 2020. Set a reminder on your calendar now so you won’t miss out on this scholarship opportunity. The application window will close on April 10, 2020 so you must not delay. The Scholarship Committee will evaluate all applications and those selected to receive a scholarship will be notified soon after the scholarship window closes.
How? The application process is simple. Just log in to our website, answer a few questions and submit your application. Scholarship criteria and more information is posted on the webpage http://www.ncbcweb.com/scholarship-info. Scholarships (up to $500) can be used toward continuing education – including the NCBC annual conference registration fee, college tuition, seminars or other qualifying educational expenses.
