Please accept my name as a candidate for one of the two open Board of Governors positions with the National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks for the 2018-2020 term. I have been a member of NCBC since 2006. Since beginning my career with the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee in 2004, I have served my court as Administrative Analyst/Specialist and Internal Controls Analyst. I am currently enrolled in the Michigan State University Judicial Administration Certificate program with a graduation date of 2019.
I feel that my skills and abilities will help the NCBC continue to achieve its main goal to provide its members with training and development opportunities, be an advocate for the bankruptcy clerks and the bankruptcy system, and provide leadership and input on a national level. For the past two years, I have served on NCBC’s Education Committee and am currently Chair of the Peer to Peer subcommittee. Over the years, I have seen what a positive influence the NCBC is to the bankruptcy courts and their employees and I hope to be part of that influence. I would truly be honored to serve on the NCBC Board of Governors. Thank you for your consideration and I would be honored to receive your vote.
