It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I declare my candidacy for Board Member of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Clerks. My interest in serving stems from many years of experience in Human Resources. Supporting employees and helping to protect and meet their needs is my passion. I have been a member of the NCBC for 23 years and have held the positions of Secretary (2003-2005) and Board Member (2005-2007).
During this time, we modernized the NCBC website, updated the NCBC By-Laws and introduced free benefit seminars to courts around the country. The NCBC continued to grow as an organization, and successively hosted larger annual conferences which expanded the educational and networking opportunities for all bankruptcy court staff. I was fortunate and honored to contribute to that progress. I look forward to the opportunity of working with the many dedicated members who, like me, are committed to the advancement of the Bankruptcy Community by advocating for budget stability, adequate resources, and the increased use of technology to improve efficiency while reducing costs. I am asking for your support so that I may serve you in this vital and progressive organization. Thank you for your consideration.
