I am honored to submit my name in nomination for the office of NCBC Treasurer. During the upcoming elections, I appreciate the consideration of your vote.
I value the NCBC and the strength it brings as an organization to provide training, education and a sense of community for our membership. Having been elected to two terms (2014-2018) on the NCBC Board of Governors, I have been honored to serve as the chair of the Mentorship, Awards and Scholarship Committees. Working with these committees has allowed me to represent the NCBC membership in a very tangible way.
Now I would like the opportunity to continue contributing to our organization by seeking election as Treasurer. During my career at USBC-KYE, I served my court for 30+ years in positions of finance deputy, budget analyst and financial manager, so I am familiar with common accounting and audit practices. In addition to my position at the court, I also served the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges as an administrative assistant – maintaining spreadsheets, processing invoices and creating financial reports for 3000 accounts. I also have experience volunteering as treasurer for a local scout troop – managing multiple accounts and reporting regularly to a parent oversight committee. I bring with me knowledge, skills and abilities that will help me succeed as the NCBC Treasurer.
As a lifetime NCBC member, I have had the opportunity to attend numerous conferences and I have had the pleasure to meet and work with many of you. Whether we have worked together on a national committee, met at a previous conference, or participated together in some other way, please be assured that if I am elected Treasurer I will use my expertise to continue to represent the values and programs important to our organization.
Your vote of support would be most appreciated.
